Infinite Dream Technology (IDTEC) was established in 1995 by Winstone Jordaan. Until the middle of 1998, the company was strictly used for part-time activities.

From 1998 to 2000, the company focused on skills development and selling time to clients. In 2001 the objective of the IDTEC started to move towards becoming a more pure product and solutions development company.

In 2003 Simon Stewart joined IDTEC as Chief Software Architect and business partner.




To become a highly respected product and solutions development company, which owns and / or maintains a large set of professional products, which are sold in the private and commercial sectors.

Infinite Dream Technology believes in using Object Oriented Analysis, Design and Development throughout the project life cycle. Microsoft core technologies (ActiveX / COM / COM+ / .NET , MSMQ, OLE DB, ODBC, ATL etc) are always under consideration in the design/development of software. Formal version control is exercised on all software and formal quality assurance is applied by independent testers not involved in development. We understand the issues involved in developing globalisation enabled (translation to other languages) software and writing software which conforms to Microsoft Logo requirements, should they be required on a particular project. The specific methodology used on any project will be drawn from our vast experience and understanding of processes like RUP, MSF, Agile and Extreme Programming.
